Looking for the price of guitar lessons in Brussels? Here are the rates for my private acoustic guitar lessons, taught in my studio in Saint-Gilles or online. All prices include VAT, with no hidden fees, and the first meeting is free.
The type of programme that suits you best is to be discussed as part of the diagnosis during the first meeting (free of charge) and depends on your goals and needs.
The price of each programme differs depending on its frequency and lesson format. A 60 minutes lesson works best for a programme for adults. The first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique and repertoire, while the second half is dedicated to applied harmony on guitar.
What does a private guitar lesson cost in Brussels?
There is no single right programme: it all depends on your goal, your level and the time you can give to the guitar each week.
Weekly: this is the rhythm I recommend most, especially with some basics or when there are real gaps, because regularity quickly builds good habits (posture, rhythm, tone). In this solid and continuous frame, you progress much faster and remember more from week to week.
Bimonthly: a good option if you already have experience and work well on your own between lessons. You already have a very good level and want feedback on your technique, while building your guitar repertoire more independently. The monthly price is then roughly halved.
6 or 12 month commitment: the 12-month programme is a little cheaper per month, because it gives you time to put more things in place, while continuing to develop your guitar playing and build your repertoire.
Lesson length: 60 minutes
For adults, I recommend 60 minutes. The lesson covers technique, repertoire and the elements of music theory you need to develop on guitar. You don’t just play pieces: you understand what you play and how you play it.
What is included in every programme
Whatever rate you choose, you get complete support:
scores that I write myself, in hybrid notation (staff and tablature), with all the indications for the right and left hand;
video tutorials (if needed) for each piece to work on before the next lesson, so you can practise at home with confidence;
a report after each lesson, with precise instructions, that keeps track of what was done and what remains to be worked on;
lessons in French, Dutch or English, in person in Saint-Gilles or online if needed.
